Andrew Hassen D.C.
Doc Andy graduated from the University of California, Irvine where he obtained his Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in neurobiology. While studying he found time to volunteer with Hoag hospital and compete on the Track and Field and Cross-Country teams at the Div-1 level. He followed up his undergraduate work with the Doctorate program at Southern California University of Health Sciences where he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic. While in school, Doc Andy was part of the Sports Injury Council and Business Club where he served as vice president.
Throughout practice, Doc Andy has worked with a wide range of patients from toddlers to octogenarians. Some of his patients include professional athletes and their families including NBA, mixed martial arts (MMA) and boxing. He also works with local community teams and athletes performing pre-participation physicals for high school and Pop Warner athletics as well as rehabilitating them for their sports. He utilizes a wide array of chiropractic and physical treatments including, spinal and extra-spinal manipulation, spinal decompression, electric stimulation and ultrasound, cold laser (low-level laser), muscle release techniques and stretching/strengthening. Doc Andy keeps up with chiropractic policies and research as an active member of the American Chiropractic Association and the California Chiropractic Association.
Doc Andy is a Southern California native and enjoys many of the activities that California allows. Outside the office, he enjoys surfing, skateboarding, running, working out, Brazilian jiu-jitsu and soccer.
